Google Adsense income report March 2019

March brought in better numbers then January and February. After the Google Algorithm update the numbers spiked as you can see in the graph. But a few days after that it faded away again.

Google Adsense income March 2019:

€2.264,98

The spike to €120 was the moment of the Google algorithm update. Too bad it didn’t hold it 🙂 Still, this is a very good month. A break down:

#1 site brought in: €1.354,46

This is roughly 60% of total revenue. Not great, not that bad either. It would be better if the number 1 revenue website would bring in less than 50% of the total revenue. This way I am less depending on that one website.

Average CPC (Cost per Click) of total revenue: €0,076

This is on the low side… I am not sure why it is this low, last year my average was above €0,10 for the whole year. Going to do some research on this and see if I can do anything about it, but I don’t think I can. If you do have any tips, please let me know in the comments.

Plans for April

I started another affiliate site in the construction niche. This is a collab with a friend and we just went live. Got over 20,000 words on the site and now working on getting links. The plan is to get revenue from other sources than just adsense. The travel affiliate site I started in January is going slow. It is online for 2 months now and Google is picking it up, but no revenue yet. I didn’t expect it to go fast though. For the rest of the month I will be working on my existing websites.

Google AdSense income report August 2018

Last month I broke my record for highest earning Google AdSense month. Well, this month was even greater! Another month, another record!

Google AdSense income report July 2018;

€3.557,98

This is really beyond my expectations. An average of €114,70 a day! The thing is; the sites are in the travel nice and this is travel season. August is the last real month of summer here so I expect the record breaking to be over. My goal for next month is to make at least €2.000,-. That would be awesome already since my initial goal was €1.000 a month. The €1.000 a month goal was only met 3 months ago.

Making money online can go fast. I had the idea I was stuck at €500,- a month but this summer was really good. Last month I started to break down revenue from my best 5 sites. I will continue doing this so here we go:

  • Site 1: €2.889,76
  • Site 2: €389,74
  • Site 3: €218,63
  • Site 4: €44,73
  • Site 5: €17,73

As you can see my other sites are starting to pick up revenue as well, which is good. I also have other plans for new sites which I will execute very soon. I promised to post more about other things I do online and what I use for instance on my websites. I will do that starting from this month.

Google AdSense income June

June flew by. The month went fast and I got busy with a lot of things online. A few months ago I mentioned I was working on an instagram project. I closed the entire project due to a legal notice from Instagram. I got this mail with a potential fine of $100,000 if I continued with the site. I checked the mail and it looks genuine… I had this exact match domain (with the name Instagram) with a nice search volume. Most of the times these big companies don’t bother, but this time they did. I just closed the site and lesson learned 😉

AdSense income

Last month I broke a record with my €51,95 but it was not yet enough to get a monthly payout. I had set this goal to reach €100,- a month by April and failed miserably. June got me there! Yes I made a good amount in June, more than expected. June AdSense income;

€148,76

The month looks extremely good with almost 3x as much as May. But something happened. I got a really top ranking for just one week in June. I made it to position 2 in google for a keyword with a decent volume. I got really excited but after one week the site went back to number eight. AdSense shot as high as €9,- for a few days and after the week of the high ranking it went back to €2,- / €3,- daily.

Potential

The top 3 ranking made me see the potential. It gives me new motivation to work on the site and get it back to the top 3. I am also planning some new sites. This month will be a hard one to break. I guess the AdSense income for July will be a bit lower…

I will keep you guys updated!

AdSense Page-level ads review

A few weeks ago I started using Google AdSense Page-level ads on one of my niche blogs. The ads were running for two weeks and just got 2 clicks resulting in €0,47 AdSense revenue. The average of clicks a day is around 20 now, so the CTR is really low for these Page-level ads. I decided to quite AdSense Page-level ads for now.

Google Rankings

While reading my older post about using AdSense Page-level ads I state that the site is getting 100 uniques a day. Well, things has changed in last couple of weeks. The site was getting up to 400 uniques a day last week. I was ranking on #3 in google.nl for one of the keywords I was aiming for. A great success and the site was bringing in some extra AdSense money. But, this success didn’t last long. Just a few days ago Google put me back at #8… Bye bye traffic. The site is back at 100 uniques a day now.

Potential

My site was on #3 for about 1 week and I saw the potential of this rank. I am not sure why I am put back at #8 after one week. I even got one very related strong backlink from quite a big site. At least I know the potential of this rank and I will work to get it back. I did a due diligence on the number 1 and 2 and they don’t seem that strong. The backlinks they have are not super related and not from very high profile websites. I think I can beat them but it will take some time.

Google AdSense revenue

The AdSense revenue for June is setting a new record again. When I got that #3 position for my niche site the average AdSense revenue was around €5,- a day. Unfortunately the site is now at #8 and bringing in €1 or €2 a day. If I am able to push the site to the number 1 position, I guess the AdSense revenue will be around €10,- a day.

Google AdSense Income May

June is here! This means I got an income report to share with you. In April I made a bit of €20,- which was a great improvement of the month before (March). The Google AdSense income from May were even better. I was aiming to at least €30,- but it got much better then that!

Google AdSense May Income;

€51,95

Yes, thats right. After the €20,- month, income shot to over €50,- in May. I am happy with the growth last month. One of my sites that was picking up rankings did very well. It made 28,76 in May alone and I am not yet into top 5 in Google for my main keyword.

Competition

I am focussing on the site that is making me the most money on AdSense right now. I found out one guy owns the top 3 sites in google for the main keyword I am trying to rank for. So the top traffic is pretty much controlled by 1 guy. It is not the only site I am working on though. This site made about half of May’s income, so I will keep working on my other sites as well.

More updates are coming soon

Motivation Killer

First two days of the new month have passed. I worked quite a few hours the last weekend of January to start the new month strong. Till now I only made €0.02 on Google AdSense which is really killing my motivation to work on my content sites. It got me thinking if I’m heading into the right direction… Maybe I should ditch Google AdSense and go with affiliate marketing? Not sure what to do… Maybe I am pulling that dead horse I was talking about in my last post..

While thinking about affiliate marketing and how to get into it I checked a couple of affiliate marketing blogs. All these guys are killing it with a few thousand profit a month (some way over that). It all looks so easy but it is definitely not! I got this great domain for a sneaker affiliate shop… I bought it for way too much money last year when I had a short rush of getting back at the make money online niche. Well, I got new motivation and I guess these kind of set backs are part of the game. Got to make it through this…

Enough said, back to the drawing table and I am not sure what to do yet with the creditcard site… The goal of making €100 a month on Google AdSense looks further away than ever… The actual number of earnings on Google AdSense in January; €5,00. *depressing*

Testing Google AdSense

Last week I decided to put up some Google AdSense ads on the neglected creditcard site I started 2 years ago. In the past I have been earning a decent amount with Google AdSense. Some months were over €500,- which is a nice extra. But I am starting at zero again. The ads are online for a little over a week now and in the image below you see the results of the last 7 days.

AdSense last 7 days

A bit over €1,50 in the last 7 days. Makes an average of €6,- a month. Not something to brag about… As I am back with new motivation and putting in hours again to create new content and links I expect the earnings to climb.

Google AdSense Goal

I just came up with a new goal of earning €100,- monthly with Google AdSense in the month of April. That gives me a full two months to do whatever it takes to make that €100,- in April just on Google AdSense. After this I will set a new goal, but lets first see if I can make it to this one!

If any of you is starting with Google AdSense and has some questions, please ask me in the comments and I will be happy trying to help you out.
