Google AdSense income January
First month of 2017 is over. The year has started with a new record in AdSense earnings. I am working on a couple of new sites at the moment and I hope they will start earning in a month or two. If everything goes to plan these should bring in a nice amount of money. The competition looks decent, but beatable. Now, the earnings of January;

One year ago I started this blog with the goal to document my online earnings. The money made in my first month (January 2016) was €5. Compared with last January the earnings went up almost 100 times. Gives me more motivation 🙂
So what will bring February? I am guessing no record month. We will see. I try to work on the new sites as much as possible. I plan to update this blog more often as well. Also a design update is on the way. Stay tuned.

Traffic going up
The traffic of my main travel site is still going up. Yesterday it had a high of 1,300+ unique visitors bringing in little over €20,- for the day. This is 100% Google AdSense income.

In a previous post (May 2016) traffic just started to pick up for this site, I also posted a screenshot of the traffic back then;
In the last 8 months things have changed. I got some top rankings for important keywords which are bringing in the majority of the traffic. 85% of the visitors are coming from Google with 13% being direct traffic.
Returning visitors
There are quite some visitors that visit the site more than once. While checking reports I noticed there are even people visiting the site over 100 times in the last 30 days.
Some even surpassed 200 times in the last 30 days. Who are those people? 200 times is A LOT. The site is build around a service though so they might be hooked to it and are just being curious all the time.
Bitcoin frenzy – Trading volume is up!
Bitcoin reached a high of $1,153.02 yesterday. Coming within reach of its all-time high it dropped to a low of $887.47 again. The Bitcoin rally is still going on, the price is going up and down fast at the moment ($978.25 at time of writing).
Some people are afraid that this will be the same rally as in late 2013, when Bitcoin went sky high after falling down to the bottom. A rep from Huobi (which has a quarter of the world’s bitcoin volume) said the following to Coindesk;
“In 2013, when the price was 8,000 yuan, the weekly trading volume was 393,000 BTC, with an amplitude of the week up to 103%. The trading volume was very small. Today, bitcoin [prices] broke 8,000 yuan with 735m BTC trading volume, which is expected to double in a week. Current trading volume is 37x of that in 2013 and bitcoin price fluctuates 15.95%, which is much more stable than the year 2013.”
We just have to wait and see what will happen next 🙂

First of all; Happy new year! Hope you all had a great time celebrating the start of 2017. The last year went by quite fast. A year were I started doing internet marketing again after a few years of silence… Glad I did because December was another good month for my AdSense earnings.

Reached €400 a month on AdSense with one of my travel related sites bringing in 90% of it. The site has some top rankings in google.nl and keeps on doing great. The site gets around 20,000 unique visitors monthly. I think the site is on its max in its current state. I have plans to add more content and other areas that I didn’t touch yet… I see potential.
I started working on a new site in the financial niche. I work there so I have a bit of experience in it. AdSense clicks are high as well. Have to try it 🙂 Will keep you updated on that as well.

AdSense income from last month broke a record 322 euro. The month November did even better. My main site had a few very good days in the early weeks of November… The last days of november were back to normal though.

Again last month I didn’t do any work on my sites… I know this is a bad thing but the month broke an AdSense record. Rankings are stable, traffic is stable.

October was a good month. I was expecting a slow decline in AdSense income because the travel season is over. I was wrong. AdSense income for October brought in a record for this year. Yes I broke the €306,26 in August.

The amount of work I did on my sites last month was minimal. I didn’t update anything and was just checking from time to time if my sites were up. I got a new idea for a good AdSense site which I need to start this month.

Sorry for the delay! I am busy with other things and totally forgot to post my September AdSense earnings. This post won’t be long but I will update this blog later when I have some more time on my hands. I will also discuss an investment I recently did which is turning out quite good. More on that later.

August is over. Probably one of the busiest months in the travel niche. The earnings on my number one travel site were high. I broke a record this year and had the highest paying month in Google AdSense so far.

That is an average of €10 a day on AdSense. Check below screen. You can see the start of August was very good. The last weeks of August it went downhill. I need to come up with other sites to make my goal of €500 a month. September earnings will be between 100 / 200 I guess…

Learn to code
Reading code is no problem. I get the basics and can edit stuff I need. Nowadays with all the free stuff online it is not that hard to create a good looking website. But I came to a point I want to create things myself as well. And editing code is not always a walk in the park either. That is why I decided to pick up an online course on how to learn to code.
Back to basics
I just finished the first 10 lessons (small lessons) and it is really basic. I saw everything so far before but its good to fresh it up.
Always keep learning
Keep learning. Always. I regret years in my past where I did nothing and stood still. Watching tv for the whole night and not doing anything… If you are feeling the same, try to pick up a book, a free online course or whatever has your interest. It is better then waste your time in front of the tv.
