Google AdSense income report November 2018

The month is over. Not much happened really. I started an affiliate site which is not finished yet. I hope to finish it next week so I can start marketing for it.

Google AdSense income report November 2018;

€1.752,71

Breakdown of my top 5 earners;

Site 1: €1.038,08
Site 2: €314,72
Site 3: €173,29
Site 4: €108,14
Site 5: €43,97

I hoped to reach at least €2.000,- but I didn’t make it. Traffic on my travel sites are down. Its off season. Understandable.
Good thing is my other smaller sites are getting more revenue. I also created a site more than 1 year ago which is picking up traffic lately. It is not yet in my top 5 earners, but will I am planning to work on that site. Could become a stable €100,- + earner I think.

  1. Thanks for keeping us updated about your earnings!

    I’d like to ask you how do you position your ads? And, have you tried google adsense auto ads?

    1. My pleasure Mike!

      My main ads that bring in 80% of all the revenue are 2 header banners. One just under the logo (centered), than a bit of introduction text for the site and below that again a header banner (centered). Both are responsive.

      I tested auto ads but am not a fan. The vignet ads and full page ads on mobile users are not really working. Also I am not a fan of the user experience it gives for the visitor. So after a few days of testing, not much revenue was coming in and I decided to disable it again.

      Mike, how did your blog redesign go? And how is the revenue performing?

      1. Hey… well, my blog is still being under development right now. It is a major change from ground up, so it takes more time than I expected. Currently, we are doing the coding of the “mobile first” theme, while later, I need to make 301 redirects (because I am also changing the domain name)… so lots of work needs to be done still.

        1. Interesting! Why are you changing domain name? I hope you don’t lose any rankings. What is your site? I am interested to check it out or is it private?

          Mobile is getting more and more important. 70% of my visitors on my main site are getting there through mobile. Good focus point 🙂
